IMAGE...According to the LA Times, yesterday would have been the 100th B-Day of
the great BRODERICK CRAWFORD! ( Wiki says it's Dec. 9, 1911, but whatever..).
Amanda and I just saw Brod in Fritz Lang's "Human Desire." What a
guy! BC could play weak, he could play strong. He could do funny and he could
do serious. And he was always fun to observe in action. Now take this Philip
Seymour Hoffman...PLEASE! He may be a "great thespian" but he is
dull,dull,dull...definitely NO FUN to watch on the big screen. Talk about
disappearing into you role...Phil just disappears! And what's with the THREE
names ?!? I don't get it...BRING BACK BROD!...
