DAME...A "Bon Anniversaire" (10/22) to CATHERINE DENEUVE, who is the
subject of this curious quote by IGGY.
Sayeth IG:
" Bowie's a real man. And I'm a real woman, like Catherine Deneuve."
Not positive why
POP picked Cathy as his female role model. Perhaps the fact that Bowie and
Deneuve both co-stared together in "The Hunger" might have had
something to do with it ( they both played vampires ).
PHUN FACT: When asked by Hit Parader magazine what His
musical influences were, JIMI HENDREX replied: "Eddie Cochran, the blues,
atonal music, and "Cathy's Clown" by the Everly Brothers."
